Laut Jury handelt es sich um eine filmisch mit Hilfe von Kratztechnik ungewöhnlich umgesetzte afrikanische Legende. Ein Kurzfilm, der gerade weil er den Ursprung und die Herkunft nicht hinterfragt, traditionelle Bilder zugleich aufmacht und zur Diskussion stellt.
